  4. I am so with you on this, Cindie. This is a very “Taoist” post. Nature teaches us so much! I love the idea about the magnifying mirror. Whoa. It is sometimes not fun to see things close up, but it sure is helpful!

    • Thank you, Amy! Agreed…and I suppose we choose the perspective, either “Thank you Universe for pointing that out!” or “BLECH!!!!” (which alternately shows up as us complaining about other people’s stuff :p) I appreciate your comments! xo

  5. Cindie you’re spot on on this one, once again! very grateful to read your posts and I appreciate your Articles. There is no us, no world without Relationships, and rightly so, there is a meaning in all of this… Cheers!

    • Thank you, Messias, for your kind words. So thankful to hear them, and happy that the article resonated with you! 🙂

  6. Oh wow. This is so true! And often, the most difficult relationships are the ones that teach you the most. I’ve just been through chaos, and some of it has made me think back to my previous relationships and all the things I learned from them, way back. It all comes together now, like magic. Just because I changed from them and found the true meaning behind it. Loved your post! 🙂

  7. I love this: “I look into a mirror to see if my hair looks ok, if my makeup is the way I like it, if my clothes look right, if I have food in my teeth…and then, once I see what needs fixing, I fix it. I fix myself, not the mirror.”

I’ve heard the “mirror” idea so many times before, but it never goes this far. Sure, it should be obvious that if you’re looking into a mirror, you need to fix YOU, not the mirror–and yet, nobody ever says it, and I think that lets us get away without thinking about what it all really means. I think we may stop at, “Oh, so it’s my problem” and never get any further than that. And since that’s not news any of us want, that makes sense to me. But still–thank you for going that extra step.

    • Thank you, Nancy…I like to go deep, and I also like to be practical! I’m thrilled that you recognized that extra step here. 🙂 I appreciate you reading and enjoyed your comments. xo

  8. I’ve always believed that all the people who come into my life serve a purpose. I can go back and look at the relationships that have since dissolved and see the purpose they played. And I can see the new relationships in my life serving their purpose as well. It’s all so cleverly orchestrated 🙂

  9. WOW! Powerful words. I love the quote: “Everything in this world has a hidden meaning…People, animal, trees, stars are all heiroglyphics…We think they are really only people, animals, trees, stars. It is only years later…that some of us understand.” Nikos Kazantzakis
Because I do try to figure out the meaning beyond the surface of people, things, etc.

Also, to answer the questions: When you take a look at your world, at the relationships you have, what do you see? I see a wonderland. I see people from past lives here with me. I think it’s pretty cool because I work towards discovering their meaning/what I have attracted that person or people into my life!

And what does it show you about yourself? That I feel like Alice in Wonderland! lol Just going further down the whole, but unlocking the messages, meanings, and so forth along the way!

    • Thanks, Tia. I love that quote too! And I love reading your answers to my questions…a wonderland! How amazing!!:) xo

  10. Hi Cindie,
Thanks for this post. I am in the midst of studying the 7 Essene Mirrors of Relationship and find myself humbled and in awe of the teachings. I am grateful to be surrounded by healthy, loving and supportive people. Aho!
