Cindie – I think this is something I sorta-kinda-understood on some level, but wasn’t 100% clear on – thank you so much for articulating it so clearly. Suddenly a lot of things about my boundaries with other people take on a whole new light 🙂

  3. This was really interesting for me. I’ve learned about boundaries in the past and I have strong boundaries in most areas. There’s one where I don’t, though. It’s a recent thing and it’s a temporary thing (only 3 more weeks), so I’m tolerating stuff. I keep telling myself it’s OK because it’s only temporary. But, really, I have weak boundaries in this situation.

    • Hi Leanne,
It’s all a learning experience! I promise you’ll get another opportunity to set boundaries before you know it. 😉 *big grin* xo

  4. Thanks for an excellent post Cindie! This is perfectly timed for me too 🙂

I think it is important to understand that well crafted and firmly held boundaries are all about self-love and self-acceptance – and the more we can operate within those, the more engaged and happy we experience life.

Feeling grumpy because someone pushed a boundary is kinda telling yourself that you are just not worth the effort… but we ARE 🙂

    • Hi Moira,
You are so right! – we ARE worth the effort! Once we realize how much space and freedom we gain from boundaries that serve us it just gets easier and easier. 🙂

  5. Thank you Cindie, your timing is Great.
I’ve realized that I need to set boundaries.
I’ve not been successful in setting or keeping them in the past. With your words of wisdom, I hope to set them with intentions for my growth & needs, not, of changing others.
    Peace,
